Departure time shifts with the seasons to keep you in golden hour light. Peak season (May–Sept): 4 PM. Shoulder (Mar–Apr, Oct): 3:30 PM. Winter (Nov–Feb): 3 PM. Exact time confirmed at booking.

Golden hour is the period before dusk when sunlight turns warm and golden. The bridge, the city, and the bay all glow. We time every departure so you're on the bridge during this window.

In the afternoon, the west sidewalk opens exclusively to cyclists. Wide-open Pacific views with zero pedestrian traffic — completely different from the crowded east sidewalk that morning tours use.

You'll be back at our Haight-Ashbury shop by 5:30–6:30 PM depending on season. We recommend dinner reservations for 7:30 PM or later.

You should be comfortable riding a bicycle. The e-bikes handle all the hills and we ride mostly protected bike paths — you just pedal and enjoy the ride.

We ride rain or shine — afternoons tend to be the clearest part of the day. Free cancellation if you'd rather reschedule.

Ages 12+ are welcome. Riders must be comfortable on a bike and at least 4'10" tall. For younger children, check our private tour options.

Layers are key. Even on warm days, the bridge can be windy. Light jacket, comfortable pants, closed-toe shoes. We have extra layers at the shop.

Absolutely — the experience is completely different. Morning tours use the east sidewalk in flat light with heavy foot traffic. Golden Hour gives you the west sidewalk, warm golden light, fewer people, and a gourmet pastry finish.
